Food is decent for a quick Chinese food fix. This is a bit on the oily side. The service was good considering we were the first ones dining in for dinner. We ordered their chow mein, honey walnut, lobster, fish, Stir fried steak, chicken and veggies and a couple of other dishes. The owner is kinda and quick to take your order. We order take out from here often.

Pretty solid Chinese food here. Very reasonable prices and good portion size. Couldn't find much fish in my salty fish chicken fried rice. Tofu was pretty good. Too much bean sprouts in my beef chow mein. Otherwise, I'd like to try their crispy fried pork ankle and oxtail bean curd clay pot next time.

When your going up Balboa and your able to avoid all those other restaurants that look the same , sound the same but are not the same ., passing outer going inner you notice this restaurant that's been here for decades. At least 4 decades is what this patron tells me when I was dining Inside. This place here is well known for their sizzling plates and fresh seafood. Just like good food ,. It takes time,. This place is cooked made to order,. The waiter is the boss who the boss is the cook. So be prepared to wait just a heads up They have steamed fish black bass at 21 a lb and surf clams at 9 a piece cooked authentic gourmet Chinese style. For the type of style I was truly amazed with the chefs style of cooking and flavors as it was truly unique. tip: the scallops I received in my seafood mixed clay pot and the tofu both the size of half dollars are really fresh soft and unique.

The best place for Chinese food in this district of SF, and the best deal to feed an entire family! Dishes are plentiful and colorful, served hot and fresh. It's really hard to find parking in this area, but when I find a spot, we go all out. There are leftovers for dayyyyyyyyyysssss! The honey walnut prawns is full of prawns, and the walnuts are crispy, not stale. Don't expect a super fancy restaurant. Enjoy the foods with family and friends when you come here; it's all about the great company. When dining out these days, this place is the most feasible when feeding hangry teenagers who crave Chinese food. 'Til next time ~ gan bei & see you on Yelp (SYOY)!
